Gorski Kotar region is mountain region in Croatia. It is famous by its harsh cold winters followed with lot of snow. For that matter majority of my winter videos with snow are filmed in Gorski Kotar region. 

It also has one national park called Risnjak. 

There are beautiful highlands and huge spruce forests filled with wildlife including brown bear, wolves, lynx etc.

It has very old tradition and history, and people are pretty used to live in hard conditions during winter. Temperatures over there very often in winter go down around -20°C to -30°C

Area is trully beautiful and suitable for all adventures. Kayaking, fishing, canoeing, hunting and lot more!
